Our client’s application-related needs are varied and constantly shifting, involving hundreds of applications upon which users across all functional areas of the company rely. To free up their employees to focus on strategic initiatives, they required a partner to handle all aspects of application maintenance, incident management, and additional project support based on new strategies. The partner’s solution also needed to provide significant savings and meet the client’s service-level objectives.
SOLUTION
CTG implemented the proprietary methodology associated with our Application Management solution, designed to maximize the value, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of application management. The CTG Managed Services team delivers a “keep-it-running” support model for SAP, server, mainframe (now retired), client server, Lotus Notes, SharePoint, internet, and intranet applications
CTG’s application experts have effectively managed hundreds of applications, 10% of which are critical applications with hundreds of users. At the start of the engagement, the client experienced more than 30 critical application incidents each day. As of today, there are only one or two per day. During the first five years of our engagement, the client achieved double-digit, year-over-year savings—an ROI that has remained consistent.
